Quick answer
For most women's teams ordering in 2026, the 2026 Design is the better default because it is the current version. Choose the 2025 Design only if the lower catalog price is the deciding factor for your budget.
The real trade-off: current design vs. lower price
The two shirts share the same Vapor Lite long sleeve platform: breathable, lightweight, and built for early miles or layering. The catalog facts do not list any fabric or feature differences between the 2026 and 2025 designs, so the design year is the main distinction. That means your choice comes down to whether you want the newest design or the lower price.
The 2026 Design is priced at USD 29.21 (compared to USD 47.12), while the 2025 Design is USD 28.74 (also compared to USD 47.12). The difference is small—about 47 cents per shirt—but it adds up on a large team order. If your team wants the latest look and you are ordering now, the 2026 Design is the safer pick. If you are reordering a previous kit or working with a tight budget, the 2025 Design still delivers the same core performance.
What the catalog does not tell you
The product records do not specify fabric weight, sleeve length, or decoration method beyond what is listed. Both shirts are described as breathable and lightweight with just the right warmth for early miles, and both fit true to size. If your team needs exact measurements or a specific customization technique, check the size chart on the final product image and confirm decoration details with the store before ordering. Do not assume the 2026 Design has technical upgrades over the 2025 Design—the facts do not support that.
Decision rules for team orders
- If you want the current design: Choose the 2026 Design. It is the newer version and the better default for teams ordering in 2026. Confirm your team's design preference before collecting sizes.
- If price is the priority: Choose the 2025 Design. It saves about 47 cents per shirt versus the 2026 Design, which matters on large orders. Calculate the total savings against your budget before deciding.
- If you need exact fit or decoration details: Check the size chart on the final product image and ask the store about decoration options before ordering. Neither product record lists fabric weight or decoration method. Order one sample if your team has never worn this style.
